Got a misleading error message from Exchange Powershell cmdlets.

Problem description

• FIM 2010
• AD DS MA
• Provision for Exchange 2010
• Export contact
• No error message
• Contact object not mail-enabled
• Try PS command via Exchange Management Shell
• Object not found (see error below)

Resolution

• mailNickname was empty!
