- I had to wrestle with SQL Server, since I had 2008 R2 installed, and I ran into an obscure Sharepoint installation error that seemed to be related. According to a forum post, "I tried the approach of uninstalling SQL Server 2008 R2 and installing SQL Server 2008. That did it for me." I'm not entirely convinced that that was the solution, but eventually I did get it to work after I uninstalled SQL Server 2008 R2. And then installing SQL Server 2012 was another adventure! But I did that before installing MIM 2016, and all's well.

ReplyDeleteI tried anyway. Heaven knows why. Maybe just to see if I could or maybe because I was tired of working for the man hating my job and staying in debt. The first few months I just kind of half assed it. Like I said, I was mainly doing it for me. As I started to earn an income, make connections, helping people and getting results of my own...I really realized the potential.
